JD Edwards CNC Consultant

The CNC (Configurable Network Computing) Administrator – JDE Support will be responsible for the daily technical (ERP) system and is the primary individual responsible for all aspects of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Environments.
Will also require working directly with the systems development staff to troubleshoot application issues and project management of upgrades.
Back up to the MS DBA
Participate in system upgrades by assisting in planning and testing those upgrades.
Continuously gains an understanding of the customers’ operations and how systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge to users, programmers and IT support personnel.
Stay abreast of new JDE releases and applications and present opportunities for improvement to the business units.
Determine system requirements and recommends workable JDE solutions to management and staff.
Develop new, or modifies existing software solutions to satisfy ongoing company business needs.

1.      Installation and Configuration

    • Setup security for different roles i.e. test and production roles

5.      Object Management Configuration
    • Setup and define status flows for object promotion
    • Configuring roles for status change

6.      Package Management
    • Build and deploy full packages
    • Build and deploy update packages
    • Backup objects to a different pathcode or as PAR files
    • Execute special instructions like table/index generation, backup, generate & restore tables, etc.

    • OMW project promotion to promote regular and ESU changes
    • Promoting retrofitted objects to custom pathcode

8.      Menu (Task View) Management
    • Menu/task view creation and deletion
    • Setup role based menu filtering
    • Promoting tasks and task views from one environment to another

9.      Job Scheduling
    • Implement JDE or third party scheduler
    • Create job schedules
    • Deactivate unused job schedules
    • Purging scheduler job records
    • Hold and release job schedules based on requirement
    • Stopping/starting scheduler (mostly before/after downtime)
10.   Web Client (Fat Client) Management
    • Setup a web client/fat client which involves database and JDE setup on a windows server machine
    • Package installation (deployment) on different web clients
    • Enabling different types of logging on a fat client

    • Troubleshooting fat client related issues
11.   ESU/ASU Management
    • Installation of ESUs or paper fixes
    • Implementation of POCs, if any, obtained from Oracle

    • Monitoring CPU, Disk I/O and memory usage on different nodes
    • Monitoring overall system health
    • Monitoring HTML, AIS, BSSV server instances
    • Monitoring various kernels
    • Monitoring database for resource extensive queries and table locks
18.   Maintenance Activities
    • Service restarts for enterprise servers
    • Service restarts for web components like JAS, AIS and BSSV instances
    • Clearing stale logs for enterprise servers and web components
    • Disk space management on different nodes
    • Purging scheduler records, work center messages, etc.

    NetSuite Technical Consultant

    Implement multiple new clients on the Netsuite (OneWorld) platform.
    * Implement many new subsidiaries for existing clients.
    * Set up and maintain integrations with Bill.com, Vertex and FloQast.
    * Design and create many custom entry forms and advanced PDF template, making extensive use of Free Marker and BFO.
    * Create custom saved searches, reports, and financial reports based on business needs and requirements.
    * Create custom accounts payable approval workflow.
    * Utilize Suite Cloud IDE to create various types of custom modules in Suite Script, e.g. Suitelet and Scheduled scripts to facilitate export of hours worked to Paychex import file.
    * Prepare data exports for migrations to Quickbooks.
    * Provide excellent support for controllers, accounting managers, accountants, and bookkeepers in Outsourced Accounting Services division.
    * Understands customer needs. Performs gap analysis between NetSuite functionality and customer requirements.
    * Full understanding of NetSuite documentation standards, and able to create all standard project documentation.
    * QA s project efforts and documentation to ensure project decisions/deliverables are sound
    * Trains users on NetSuite’s new processes and products.
    * Utilizes both formal and informal channels to facilitate the progress of work. Interprets and integrates multifaceted information from varied sources on a range of complex issues.

    Skills and requirements

    * Extensive NetSuite OneWorld experience.
    * SuiteScript and JavaScript is a must
    * Intermediate to expert experience with core business processes such as accounting, distribution, and manufacturing
    * Intermediate to expert functional ability in all NetSuite financial/distribution/professional services modules
    * Experience with NetSuite reporting tools
    * Experience with NetSuite integration tools and 3rd party add on modules
    * Knowledge of NetSuite customization tools required
    * Excellent communication and relationship building skills

      JAVA Script Developer

      • Write thick client front-end code in Javascript, HTML, and CSS
      • Build new features and fix bugs
      • Write clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.)
      • Work with other software engineers, product managers, user experience designers, and operations engineers on a daily basis
      • Provide Fanatical support of all production software on which you currently work
      • BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years practical engineering experience in building large-scale web-based applications

              Oracle Cloud Customer Success Manager (CSM)

              The CSM will be responsible for fusing and complementing the relationship between The Oracle Public Cloud and our customers core business objectives and priorities thereby driving increased business value and alignment between Oracle and its valued customer community.
              The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for driving customer adoption through successful onboarding and utilization of the PaaS and IaaS services (Technology Cloud).

              They will need to proactively identify and priorities opportunities, and collaborate with PreSales, Support, Sales, Development, Consulting and Partners (etc) to improve the customer’s use of Technology Cloud.

              This will include problem solving, milestone development and ongoing state of the customer reviews to ensure that customers maximize their usage of the platform.
